9 Important Details You Can’t Forget On Your Wedding Day

It was a day I would never forget. The sun was shining, my heart skipped a beat, and I’d said “Yes”!

As I gazed lovingly at the stunning rock now sitting on my left hand, another thought crossed my mind……..

What if I forget something when planning my wedding day? Something REALLY important? In fact…….how do I know, what I don’t know? Agggghhh

My mind started to race, and before I knew it I felt overwhelmed, and left wondering if I was forgetting any details (before I’d even got started with the planning process). 🙁

There are a million things to think about when planning your wedding day; so it’s hardly surprising that things get forgotten. However……I knew I didn’t want to be the bride that forgets things! I wanted to plan my wedding without losing my mind, or anything else for that matter!

To help you avoid being the bride that forgets things, I’ve put together 9 details that you can’t forget on your wedding day.

9 Important Details You Can’t Forget On Your Wedding Day1. Don’t Forget To Eat

One of the biggest details you can’t forget on your wedding day is……… food!

You’ve spent so much time tasting, choosing and co-ordinating your menu; make sure you get to taste it on the day.

If you are going to be busy with guests, photos etc. ask your caterer to put aside a plate for you both. Don’t forget to ask them to include a slice of cake! If you’re like me, and need to eat regularly to keep your blood sugar level up, ensure you have snacks available all day. And don’t forget to arrange breakfast and lunch for you and your bridal party.

2. Bring Comfortable Shoes To Dance The Night Away

You’ve found the perfect pair of shoes. I’m sure they are gorgeous, sexy…..and probably uncomfortable to wear all day!! 🙁 Whatever you do, make sure you don’t wear them for the very first time on your wedding day. Break them in by wearing them around the house.

Also , don’t forget to bring a comfortable pair of shoes, or shoe inserts,  that you can slip on as the dancing starts. You want to be able to dance the night away, not sit on the sidelines with sore feet.

3. Cry Proof Eyelashes

Weddings are emotional and tissues may be necessary. Don’t forget to test your mascara, or faux eyelashes, to ensure they are cry proof. The last thing you need is mascara running down your face, or eyelashes falling off. Eyelash glue is water soluble so keep a little extra eyelash glue in your Touch Up Bag.

4. Don’t Forget the Tech Chargers

Have all your devices charged and ready to go in the morning of your wedding day. Don’t forget to pack the chargers so that nothing dies during the day. If you are using an iPad, iPod or another device for your music, ensure it is charged and you have the correct charger ready as a back up. If you are hooking it up to speakers, or the DJ’s sound system, ensure you have the correct wires, and test that it works before the wedding starts.
