A place we call home
From the first time we saw it, with its red-clay brick walls and awkward vinyl siding, the Manor has concealed a beauty within that has whispered directly to our souls, promising a place that goes beyond what you see, hear & taste; a place where you feel.
From that first moment we knew we needed to share this special place with others, and so the idea for the “Manor Keys” was born.
At the heart of the “Manor Keys” is our Lady Smith Manor community where we want everyone to feel welcome and at home.

Frequently asked questions
How do I become a Keyholder?
It’s very simple!
- Choose your keys: The Manor Keys, Market & Event Keys, The Thirsty Whippet Keys or Master Keys.
- Head over to our sign up page.
- Fill in your information, choose your payment method and submit your Keyholder request.
- You will then receive an email with everything you need to know as a new LSM Keyholder!
Remember, you can only sign up as a Keyholder a few times a year when we open the doors to accept new Keyholders. If you don’t sign up at that time you will have to wait until we accept new Keyholders at a future date.
Why can't I sign up at any time?
We want the Manor Keys to be a community which gives Keyholders a truly personal and exclusive experience, bringing them closer to the heart of the work we do at the Manor, and the people that make it happen.
To ensure that we can provide the best possible member experience we will only be accepting new Keyholders a few times a year.
We will open the doors for new Keyholders for a few weeks at various times during the year. Once the doors close you will have the opportunity to be put on a waitlist and will be notified when the doors open again.
Will I receive a membership card?
Yes, you will receive a personalized key ring with your name engraved on it.
On the back it will have a personalized Keyholder QR code which you will scan each time you visit The Thirsty Whippet Pub to receive all your discounts and benefits.
How often are new "Keyholder Only" videos added?
New “Keyholder Only” videos and content will be added every month starting in January 2024.
Will I be able to see all past videos and content?
Yes, as a Keyholder you will have access to all past videos and content.
How do I access my "Keyholder Only" videos and content?
When you become a Keyholder you will receive an email giving you access to your very own “Keyholder Only” portal.
When you login you’ll have access to all “Keyholder Only” videos, content, events, discounts etc.
When is the Annual "Keyholder Only" Garden Party?
The annual “Keyholder Only” Garden Party will be in August each year.
When will receive my annual goodie box?
If you choose to pay annually you will receive your Goodie Box within 4 weeks of signing up as a Keyholder.
If you choose to pay monthly, you will receive your Goodie Box after your 6th month of being a Keyholder.
What will I receive in my Goodie Box?
Your goodie box will include a variety of carefully curated treats from Lady Smith Manor and The Thirsty Whippet Pub.
Each year we will change the items in the box to give you something new to look forward to.
When does my yearly membership start and end?
Your 12 month access as a Keyholder begins on the date that you sign up.
If you pay annually you will renew every 12 months.
If you pay monthly your access as a Keyholder will continue until you cancel it.
Can I add the "Doogie Doors" Keys to any of the other keys?
Yes, you can add the “Doggie Door” Keys to any of the other Keys.
Can my dog be a "Doggie Door" Keyholder if I'm not a Keyholder?
No, the “Doggie Doors” Keys can not be purchased on their own. They are only available as a add-on to one of the other Keys.
Can I cancel part way through the year?
Although we will be very sad to see you go, you can cancel at anytime.
If you are paying monthly and you cancel your “Manor Keys”, your subscription will end on the last day of that month. No refunds are given for unused time in the month that you cancel.
If you pay annually your Keyholder access with end when you cancel and you will receive a pro-rated refund.
Do both myself and my partner/spouse have to sign up as Keyholders?
Couples in the same household don’t need to both sign up as Keyholders.
To receive the Keyholder discounts the individual that signed up as the Keyholder must book any tickets or pay for food, drink, boutique items etc.
The discount is applicable on all food and drink that the Keyholder pays for for themselves and anyone else that is with them.
Keyholders will receive two tickets to our Annual “Keyholder Only” Garden Party, and if they are a “Market & Events” Keyholder, two tickets to each of our Markets. The Keyholder can choose to invite a partner/spouse/friend or anyone else to use the additional tickets.
If I have more than one dog do I need to have more than one "Doogie Door" Keys?
No.
The “Doogie Door” Key gives you Keyholder benefits for one dog, but if you have more than one dog you can either bring one dog at a time, or if you bring more than one dog they are very welcome to share the treats and dog beer.
